Planning your Pig Roast party

How much roasted pig do I need?

The piglets start at 35 pounds and can go up to 70 pounds.  We recommend one pound per person raw weight so that when you take into account shrink and waste, everyone gets a great serving.

How does my roasted pig arrive?

You have three choices:
A.    A pig roast in a box
B.    Chef carved pig roast
C.    Roasted on site and chef carved pig roast

How soon do I have to book?

We strive to make sure all our clients can have their pig roast once ordered, however there are time that we could not accommodate in view of volume.  The sooner you book, the more secure your order will be.

What time does it arrive?

Depending on which package you chose we either arrive 30 minutes before your event to drop off or set up the chef station, or arrive as much as six hours before your event if we are roasting on site.

How long does the chef stay on site?

The chef will stay as long as is required.  When your guests are finished dining, the chef will discretely start taking down his station and package what remains.  But the chef will always check with the client first.  It has been our experience that the carving and dining experience usually takes approximately one hour with another half hour allotted for taking down the station.

Can I order the entire event?

At PIG ROAST CATERING we pride our selves on providing you with effortless entertaining.  We can do as little or as much as you require.  We can provide the main showcase centerpiece or we can also provide the whole entertainment experience.  We have had many clients who wish to serve their guests with dishes they are also proud of and it would be our pleasure to presents these items as well.
